Hey Y'all,
     I created this blog for several reasons: 1) I love music and so does God. The Bible says to "make a joyful noise to the Lord" "sing praises to the Lord" "sing unto Him a new song" "Let the nations be glad and sing for joy" "sing unto God sing praises to His name" "Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.  Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord" ... you get the picture. 2) My desire is to encourage others to use their talents for God. You DO NOT have to sing like an angel to please God as long as the words and your heart attitude is honoring to Him!

     With that much said, I dedicate this Blog to the One who saved my soul, gave me wonderful teachers and mentors, gave me a voice to sing and fingers to make music and type, ;) the One who gives me a reason to sing! I think my God for all His blessings and for sending His Son to die a horrid death on that old rugged Cross. If you do not know the Lord as your Saviour I would like to suggest that you open your Bible, turn to the New Testament and read the book of John to learn what an Awesome God we have.

Romans 3:23 "For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (a gift is something someone gives you NOT something you have to pay for and NOT something you will want to reject)

Romans 5:8 "While we were yet sinner Christ died for us" (when we were His enemies He still died for us!!!)

Romans 10:3 "Whosoever will call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (if you ask He will provide.)

I NEVER want to forget how Jesus took me from sin and strife and made me joint heir with Himself. I am soooo thankful for all he has given!!!! That is why He is The Reason I Sing!
